Meet Talan Cobb, YA of Abilene's New Executive Director

During the COVID-19 pandemic, children are dealing with a lot of change and uncertainly. In addition to keeping kids engaged and learning, the arts can also play a valuable role in providing the social and emotional support kids need at a scary time.

Through increased arts-integrated professional development, creative community partnerships, organizational collaboration, and support from our school districts we have a goal of fully embedding arts in the classroom to embrace a systemic change supporting arts-in-education in Abilene and the Big Country.
